This section explains how to attach files other than image data to CASE, view PDF files, download attached files, and delete files from CASE.
3.3.1 Upload various files (attachments to CASE)
This section describes how to upload (attach) files other than image data to the specified CASE.
Uploadable files
- PDF: *.pdf
- Word: *.doc、*.docx
- PowerPoint: *.ppt、*.pptx
- Excel: *.xls、*.xlsx、*.csv
- Zipped file: *.zip
Of the above files, only PDF files can be viewed within this service. (See "PDF Browsing")
Other files are available for download only. (See "Downloading Attachments")
1 On the "Case List" screen, click the CASE to which you wish to upload (attach) a file.
The list screen within CASE is displayed.
2 On the right side of the list screen within CASE, click Attachments to expand it.
This section describes how to edit image data information.
Supplement
If the [Details], [Attachments], and [Comments] items are not displayed on the right side of the list screen in CASE, click to display them.

3 Click the "+ Add Attachments" button in the "Attachments" column.
File Explorer will appear.
4 In the File Explorer, select the file you wish to add and click the "Open" button.
File Explorer will appear.
When the file upload is complete, the file will appear in the "Attachments" column.
5 On the right side of the list screen within CASE, click Attachments to expand it.
This section describes how to edit image data information.
Supplement
You may have to wait a few seconds to a few minutes for the uploaded file to become viewable.
3.3.2 Batch file upload
This section describes how to upload multiple files in one batch.
In this method, a new CASE is created for each file; the CASE name is automatically generated by the file name.
Uploadable files
- Image:*.svs(Leica)、*.ndpi (Hamamatsu Photonics)、*.jpeg、*.tiff、*.png
- PDF: *.pdf
- Word: *.doc、*.docx
- PowerPoint: *.ppt、*.pptx
- Excel: *.xls、*.xlsx、*.csv
- Zipped file: *.zip
Of the above files, only image files (see "Image Data Viewing Procedures") and PDF files (see "PDF Viewing") can be viewed within this service.
Other files are available for download only. (See "Downloading Attachments")
Supplement
If there is a CASE with the same name as the file to be batch uploaded in the same Group, an error will occur.
1 In the left panel, click Upload Files.
The List in CASE screen appears. The Upload Files screen appears.
2 Drag and drop the files to be uploaded onto the "Files" column displayed on the "Upload Files" screen.
Files to be uploaded will appear in the "Files" column.
When the file upload is complete, the file will appear in the "Attachments" column.
Supplement
You can also click "+ Add Files" and select the files you want to add in the file explorer.
3 Check each file listed in the "Files" column.
If there are files you wish to cancel uploading, click the button to delete them.
To add files, drag and drop the files you wish to add into the "Files" field.
4 If you want to give the same information to all files (CASE), click "Data for New Cases" to open the input field and enter the required information.
5 If you want all image data files to have the same information, select an item in the Image Data field.
If there are files that you want to cancel uploading, click the button to delete them.
6 Click the "NEXT" button.
A screen will appear asking if the file can be uploaded.
When the file upload is complete, the file will appear in the "Attachments" column.
7 Make sure all files can be uploaded.
If there is a file with an error, click button for the file to delete it.
8 Check to see if all files are uploadable. If all files are uploadable, click the "Upload (n) Files" button.
The batch upload of files will begin.
When the file upload is complete, " Uploaded" will appear in each column.
9 In the left panel, click on "Cases" and verify that a CASE has been generated for each file you uploaded.
A CASE is created for each file on the [Case List] screen with the name of the file you just added.

You may have to wait a few seconds to a few minutes before the uploaded file is available for viewing.
CASE with an orange hourglass is being processed. Please wait a moment until it becomes viewable.
3.3.3 View PDF
This section explains how to view PDF files uploaded in CASE.
Supplement
Only PDF files can be viewed within this service.
Other files can only be downloaded. (See "Downloading Attached Files")
1 On the "Case List" screen, click on the CASE that contains the corresponding PDF.
The list screen within CASE is displayed.
2 On the right side of the list screen within CASE, click Attachments to expand it.
Supplement
If the [Details], [Attachments], and [Comments] items are not displayed on the right side of the list screen in CASE, please select them.
3 In the Attachments column, click the name of the PDF you wish to view.
The PDF preview screen will appear.
To exit the PDF preview screen and return to the list screen in CASE, click the "Back to Images" button.
3.3.4 Download and delete attachments
This section explains how to download and delete files (other than image data) attached within CASE.
1 On the Case List screen, click on the CASE with the file you wish to download or delete.
The list screen within CASE is displayed.
2 On the right side of the list screen within CASE, click Attachments to expand it.
