This section describes how to upload pathology specimen images and other image data to CASE, edit information, and delete them from CASE.
3.2.1 Upload image data
This section explains how to upload image data to CASE.
Uploadable images
- *.svs (Leica)
- *.ndpi (Hamamatsu Photonics)(Only files under 4 GB can be uploaded.)
- *.jpeg、*.tiff、*.ping
Under certain network conditions, it may not be possible to upload files as large as several gigabytes.
1 On the "Case List" screen, click on the CASE where you want to upload the image data.
The list screen within CASE is displayed.
2 Drag and drop the image to be uploaded onto the [+ Add Image] displayed on the list screen in CASE.

You can also click "+ Add Image" and select the file you want to add in the file explorer.
3 On the Add Images screen, select an item.

It is also possible to save the file without making a selection.
4 Click the "Upload" button.
The upload progress screen will appear.
Image Data Information
Click at the bottom right of a thumbnail to see the various information about the image data set here.
Image data information can be edited. See "Editing Image Data Information" for details.
5 When the upload progress reaches 100%, the hourglass symbol (Processing) will appear.

You may have to wait a few seconds to a few minutes for uploaded image data to become viewable.

You can also click "+ Add Image" in the "Case List" screen and select the files you wish to add in the File Explorer. This method creates a new CASE for each image data, and the CASE name is automatically generated from the file name of the image data.
3.2.2 Editing Image Data Information
This section describes how to edit image data information.
Editable item
You can edit the following information
- Name
- Organ
- Type of Specimen
1 On the "Case List" screen, click the CASE that contains the image data to be edited.
The list screen within CASE is displayed.
2 From the list screen in CASE, click in the lower right corner of the thumbnail of the image data to be edited.
The Image Details screen appears over the thumbnail.
3 Click
in the lower right corner of the "Image Details" screen to open the "Update Image" screen. Enter/select the required fields and click the [✔︎Save] button after editing is complete.
3.2.3 Delete image data
This section explains how to delete image data in CASE.
1 On the "Case List" screen, click the CASE that contains the image data to be deleted.
The list screen within CASE is displayed.
2 From the list screen in CASE, click
at the bottom right of the thumbnail of the image data to be deleted.
The Image Details screen appears over the thumbnail.
3 Click in the lower left corner of the "Image Details" screen to display a message confirming deletion. To delete the image, click the "Delete" button in the confirmation message.
